A Wedding Adventure

The adventure book table where loved ones shared kind words for the couple!

The touching ceremony at Rome’s Second Avenue Baptist Church was filled with family and friends as well as candles in memory of those who couldn’t be there. The ring bearer carried a delicate white laced bible belonging to the groom’s grandmother, and the bride’s mother created an impressive cross-stitch portrait of a mother and bride scene that the bride’s father framed.

Everyone made their way from the ceremony to the ECO Center for the reception. Upon entering, guests excitedly sketched messages and drawings on chalkboards at the guest book table, and had their photos taken on instant Polaroids by a friend of the couple. The photos, along with sweet wishes and adventure ideas, were placed into “The Adventure Book” for the couple to enjoy.

As guests ventured through the reception, they were greeted by various wild life including snapping turtles, frogs and large fish all in showcased tanks along the walls! Dinner was served with potato, broccoli cheddar and vegetable soup (the newlywed’s favorites!) and a tossed salad.

The wire cake topper was a personal and sleek touch to the wedding cake!

Maegan and David shared their first dance to “Hold On” by Michael Bublé. Then it was time to cut the cakes! The two tiered Wedding Cake from Hana’s Bakery was complete with a personal wired heart shaped cake topper.

After dinner, guests enjoyed dancing to upbeat music, exploring exhibits, playing board games and drinking mocha punch! Everyone then sent off the newlyweds with shining sparklers to start them on their new adventure!
