I was taken back by how much love and joy was on the gardens of Oak Hill for Melissa and Todd’s wedding. I’m not sure if it started as Melissa walked down the aisle in her mother’s wedding dress to, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, when the bridal party stood in a circle around her and Todd for the ceremony or when the sweet and honest vows were exchanged ending with so much thankfulness and excitement, but the love was seen and felt by everyone in that garden.

And Mother Nature must have been feeling the love too. She let soft clouds roll by across the bright blue sky that throughout the night transformed into a masterpiece of pink and orange brush strokes. backyard of the house for a gorgeous reception. Melissa knew just how to decorate with roses and pearls on tables and the three-tier wedding cake from Honeymoon Bakery filled with savory chocolate cake and strawberries!

To start off the reception, Melissa’s father surprised her with a dance to a touching song made by her grandfather about his grandchildren – quite the tearjerker! Ready or Not lead the rest of the songs and kept the energy up for the wedding guests who took full advantage of spinning their spouses on the dance floor. Spirits Bartending also kept everyone’s energy high with delicious drinks and great service!

In addition to a guest book at the ceremony, guests could also write advice or encouragement on a note and drop it in bottles labeled for the first five years of their marriage. Each year, they will take the correlated bottle and read the notes from their
