And Mother Nature must have been feeling the love too. She let soft clouds roll by across the bright blue sky that throughout the night transformed into a masterpiece of pink and orange brush strokes. Oak Hill’s venue locations are hard to beat, with multiple gardens for ceremonies and of course thebackyard of the house for a gorgeous reception. Melissa knew just how to decorate with roses and pearls on tables and the three-tier wedding cake from Honeymoon Bakery filled with savory chocolate cake and strawberries!
To start off the reception, Melissa’s father surprised her with a dance to a touching song made by her grandfather about his grandchildren – quite the tearjerker! Ready or Not lead the rest of the songs and kept the energy up for the wedding guests who took full advantage of spinning their spouses on the dance floor. Spirits Bartending also kept everyone’s energy high with delicious drinks and great service!
In addition to a guest book at the ceremony, guests could also write advice or encouragement on a note and drop it in bottles labeled for the first five years of their marriage. Each year, they will take the correlated bottle and read the notes from theirwedding day – such a clever and unique idea that Melissa and Todd can enjoy for years to come and bring them back to their wedding day!
As bouquets were tossed, Krystal was passed out and lavender was showered on the couple, The Season staff felt even more joy that they could be a part of this glorious day – we love what we do!
