Carrie and Nolan, both Berry College alumni, took full advantage of this benefit and chose the historic College Chapel located right in the middle of campus to say ‘I do’.
Once the ceremony ended, everyone met across the road at the Krannert Spruill Ballroom for the reception where the Tom & Chad show were starting the fun with great music and a slideshow of great memories from precious moments in the bride and groom’s lives thus far.
After finding their seats, guests enjoyed a large dinner selection from plump shrimp, beef, colorful fruit and many other choices from Classic Fare Catering. They also found their way to the guest book with the couple’s love story written inside: how they met, when they fell in love and the proposal! Each page of the book was filled with photos and room for family and friends to share advice or congratulations.
The newlyweds were soon introduced to the reception and made their way to the wooden dance floor in the center of the room where they danced to “Dancing in the Minefield”.For dessert, Hana’s Bakery provided a stunning four-tiered wedding cake decorated with bright bouquets of yellow and white flowers. Each of the cake’s tiers had a different type of cake, so everyone was happy!
Yellow and blue ribbon wands were passed around as the reception came to a close, and guests used them to send off the lovely couple into their limo for departure and to close the fun and beautiful day.
